The Handy Review: Handy 2 vs Handy 2 Pro, Prices, Shipping and the 14-Day Return Catch

The Handy is an app-connected automatic stroker for penis owners, made by Ohdoki, a pleasure-tech company with engineering in Oslo, Norway and a US entity in Miami Beach, Florida. Its selling point is not the motion itself but the sync: the device can follow interactive video, VR content and live-cam platforms in real time, or be controlled remotely by a partner over the internet.

This review covers the current lineup, the real difference between the Standard and Pro models, what sleeves and bundles cost, how shipping and billing stay discreet, and the return policy you should read before ordering. It is an adult product and the review stays on the buying facts.

What The Handy sells

The store is built around one device and an ecosystem of add-ons:

  • The Handy 2 (Standard and Pro). The current-generation device, wireless with a built-in battery and USB-C charging.
  • The original Handy. The first-generation, mains-powered model, now mostly sold inside bundles such as the Limited Bundle.
  • Sleeves. Interchangeable inserts in different textures and tightness, from the $15 Gen1 sleeve to $37–59 premium designs.
  • Accessories. Hands-free desk mounts, ClickOn sleeve holders, bands, chargers, lube, cleaning and storage kits.
  • The Oh! A companion vibrator that can sync to the same content, sold alone or as a couples bundle with The Handy.

Handy 2 vs Handy 2 Pro: the real difference

The two models look identical and share the same body (73.2 × 215 × 60 mm), the same 125 mm stroke length, the same noise ceiling (under 60 dB) and full app and API access. The differences are all inside:

The brand pushes the Pro hard, but the honest reading is narrower. The deciding spec is battery: roughly one hour on the Standard against about five on the Pro. If you mostly use it near a charger, or for shorter sessions, the Standard does the same job for $200 less. If you want it for long VR sessions or unplugged use, the Pro's battery is the reason to pay more — the speed and overclocking gains matter less for most buyers.

Both come with a Gen 3 TrueGrip sleeve, a Dot Band, a ClickOn band holder and a USB-C cable. The brand recommends its $19 Fast Charger (65 W PD) for best charging performance, so budget for that if you do not already own a charger of that spec.

How the sync works

Setup needs a phone (iOS 15+ or Android 10+) and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network; the Handy 2 also connects over Bluetooth. You pair it in the free Handyverse app, then either pick interactive content there or use one of the third-party platforms that support it — the brand cites 400+ compatible apps and 60+ partner sites, including VR studios such as SexLikeReal and BaDoinkVR. Community-made scripts in the open funscript format also work.

The device runs on a documented public API, which is why so much third-party software supports it. Without a connection it works in offline mode with manual controls, and a partner can control it remotely through a shared connection key.

Prices at a glance

Prices on the US store at the time of writing:

  • The Handy 2: $299 · Handy 2 Pro: $499
  • Gen1 sleeve: $15 · Gen3 sleeve: $33 · Mod sleeves: $39 · Silk sleeve: $59
  • Desk Mount Kit (hands-free): $59 · Fast Charger: $19 · Phone holder: $17
  • Original lube: $14 · Toy cleaner: $13 · Maintenance kit: $35
  • Limited Bundle (original Handy + Mod sleeve): $175, listed down from $286
  • H2 Most Wanted Bundle: $539, down from $617 · H2 Pleasure Pair (with The Oh!): $559, down from $658

The bundles are where the real savings sit. If you already know you want a second sleeve, lube and a mount, a bundle is cheaper than adding them one by one.

Shipping and discretion

US orders ship free over $144; EU orders over €144; UK orders over €168; Norway over 1,500 NOK. Elsewhere a shipping fee is added. Regular shipping takes 4–10 days and express 2–4 days, with a tracking number sent once the order leaves the warehouse.

For most countries, orders ship DDP (duties and VAT paid), so there are no surprise charges at the door. The exceptions listed by the store — Israel, South Africa, Greenland, Chile, Korea, North Macedonia and Moldova — ship DAP, where local customs fees may apply.

On discretion, the store states that parcels ship in plain packaging with no branding or product description, and the card charge appears as "ODKI AS" or "ODKI INC". Where a customs invoice is required, it may show the company or warehouse name and a product description, so international buyers should expect that on the outside of the package.

Returns: only unopened, and there is a fee

This is the policy to read before ordering. Returns are accepted only for unopened packages of The Handy or The Oh!, within 14 days. Accessories and sleeves cannot be returned at all, for hygiene reasons. Every eligible return carries a $30 / €30 return fee, and original shipping is not refunded.

In practice that means there is no "try it and send it back" option. Read the spec table carefully and decide between Standard and Pro before you open the box.

The Handy TrueGrip Gen 3 replacement sleeve
Sleeves are a recurring cost: the Gen 3 sleeve that ships in the box is $33 to replace.

Warranty and durability

The device carries a one-year warranty when bought from the official store; defective machines are replaced rather than refunded, and the faulty unit must be sent back. The warranty does not cover sleeves or bands, and opening the device or replacing the battery yourself voids it. If you bought through the brand's Amazon store, claims in the first 30 days go to Amazon.

Sleeves are made of TPE and the brand recommends water-based lube only, to limit wear. They also melt at high temperatures, so warm them in warm water rather than anything hotter. Treat sleeves as a consumable: if you use the device regularly, factor occasional replacements into the real cost.

Payment

The store accepts debit and credit cards and PayPal. Prices on the US store are in USD with sales tax applied where required; the regional stores price in their own currencies.

Who should buy The Handy

  • Buyers who want interactive content. The sync ecosystem is the main reason to choose it over a manual or simpler automatic toy.
  • VR users. Long sessions are where the Pro's battery earns its price.
  • Long-distance couples. Remote control over the internet, plus the Oh! pairing for a partner.
  • Tinkerers. A public API and a large community of script-makers mean it keeps gaining software support.

Think twice if you want a return window to try it out — there effectively is none once the box is opened — or if you only want a simple manual toy; at $299 and up, you are paying mostly for the connectivity.

The Handy coupon codes

We did not find a verified public coupon code at the time of writing, and we do not publish codes we cannot confirm. The most reliable savings are the store's own bundle pricing and the free-shipping thresholds. Any working offers we find are listed on our The Handy coupons page.

Frequently asked questions

Who makes The Handy?

Ohdoki, a pleasure-tech company. The Handy 2 is engineered in Oslo, Norway; the US company is Ohdoki Inc in Miami Beach, Florida.

What is the difference between the Handy 2 and Handy 2 Pro?

Same body and stroke length. The Pro adds a much larger battery (~5 hours vs ~1 hour), a faster motor, overclocking up to 800 mm/s, premium bearings, a sleeve dryer and a travel pouch, for $200 more.

Is shipping discreet?

The store ships in plain packaging with no branding, and the charge appears as ODKI AS or ODKI INC. International parcels needing customs paperwork may show the company name and a product description on the invoice.

Can I return The Handy?

Only if the package is unopened, within 14 days, minus a $30 / €30 return fee. Opened devices, sleeves and accessories cannot be returned.

Does it work without Wi-Fi?

Yes, in offline mode with manual controls. Video sync, remote control and most app features need a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection.

Do I need a subscription?

No. The Handyverse app is free, and the device works with third-party platforms you may already use. Some partner content sites charge their own subscriptions.

The bottom line

The Handy is the most connected device in its category: a public API, hundreds of compatible apps and a large script community. The Standard Handy 2 at $299 is enough for most buyers who use it near a charger; the Pro at $499 is worth it mainly for battery life. The strict unopened-only return policy is the real catch, so decide on the model before the box arrives.
