How is cashback different from a coupon code?+

A coupon discounts your order at checkout. Cashback gives you a percentage of your spend back as cash after the order ships. You can often combine both — apply a coupon code AND earn cashback on the discounted total.

When do I get paid?+

Most cashback locks in 30-60 days after your purchase (after the brand's return window). Once locked, EmilyReview pays out via PayPal, bank transfer, or gift card on the 1st of each month for balances over $5.

Why is my cashback pending for so long?+

Brands pay us the affiliate commission only after the return window closes. We pass that to you minus a small operational margin. If you don't return the item, your cashback locks automatically — no action needed.

Can I use a coupon AND earn cashback?+

Yes. In most cases the cashback is calculated on the discounted total. A few brands disqualify cashback if you use specific promo codes — we flag those exceptions on each store page.

What if my cashback doesn't track?+

Open a missing-cashback claim from your account dashboard within 30 days of purchase, attach your order confirmation, and we'll chase the brand. Most claims resolve within 2-3 weeks.
